New Service Information
Thankfully things seem to be slowly improving regarding COVID-19. Our governor has allowed gatherings for up to 25 people, and so, we are holding assemblies once more, albeit not in the way we used to.
For the time being, we are having two services on Sunday, one at 11 am and another at 3 pm. The goal is to spread out our numbers between the two, so please come to one or the other, but not both. The sermon will be the same at both services. To take every precaution, we are sitting in every other row of seats, only singing three songs, and one man will handle the Lord's Supper trays while wearing gloves. All unleavened bread and fruit of the vine are in individual cups that will be disposed of once used.
Let's continue to be wise and use good judgment. Lord willing we can get back to shaking hands and hugging sometime soon.
Temporary Service Changes
Due to COVID-19, we have suspended our normal service times, but we are still trying to encourage one another and are using both Facebook live videos and Zoom meetings to connect with each other. Here is the current schedule and setup:
Sunday at 9:45, we will be having a Bible class via Zoom. We will be sending out invites by email, text message, and posting the meeting information on the church's Facebook page.
Sunday at 10:45, Jarred will be broadcasting the sermon over the church's Facebook page.
Sunday at 11:45, the building will be open for those who desire to gather to partake of the Lord's Supper. We are still restricted in size (trying to keep it to a dozen or less people in the building at once) as well as maintaining social distance guidelines of staying six feet or more apart.
Tuesday at 7:00 pm, we will be having a Bible class via Zoom. We will be sending out invites by email, text message, and posting the meeting information on the church's Facebook page.
schedule changes (covid-19).
For the foreseeable future, we will only have one worship service on Sunday mornings, at 10:30 am.
Likewise we will only have one class on Tuesday evenings, at 7:00 pm. No multiple children’s classes, and the study at the Kent’s home on Thursdays has been canceled as well.
Many of our members are already self-quarantined, and we urge our members to exercise caution and take measures to prevent possible spread of illness.
